Megan has always believed in the power of mindfulness and Eastern meditative practices in helping individuals transcend em otional suffering. This is why she decided to specialize in DBT, which is one of the few forms of psychotherapy that blends Western psychotherapeutic techniques with Eastern contemplative practices to produce a treatment which research has proven highly effective across the most difficult to treat client populations.

Megan is a member of the second cohort of the Linehan Institute's Behavioral Tech Comprehensive Training for Independent Practitioners Dialectical Behavioral Therapy In tensive Training.  Additionally, she has completed trainings in the DBT Prolonged Exposure Protocol for PTSD, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and Sivananda Yoga Teacher Training.  Megan is currently receiving training to become a certified Somatic Experiencing (SE) practitioner.
